2026 starts tomorrow

As we wrap up another year of performing Celtic music, we are grateful to have played so many places and to have made so many friends.

  • 15 years performing as a band

  • 800 shows

  • Over 100,000 miles driven

Some firsts

  • 1st gig was at Dills Tavern in Dillsburg, PA

  • 1st wedding played was October 1, 2011 for Kathleen & Benjamin

Where we played

  • We have performed many Irish, Celtic, European, International festivals...and one Bluegrass festival.

  • We have performed in PA, MD, DE, NJ, VA, WV, NC, NY, ON, & QC.

  • We were watched worldwide by Canadian Forces on St. Paddy's Day

  • We performed for a baby shower in Sweden; for NY Time Best Selling Author Nora Robert's re-release of her Irish Trilogy; for the cast of The Ferryman in Jez Butterworth's Manhattan apartment on New Year's Eve; for Forbes top 5 tech company Captify in Manhattan; and many more notable events.

Traveling fun

  • We had a blown tire on the way to a wedding near Niagara-on-the-Lake; got stopped at customs entering Canada for violating Canadian law...until Dan explained that Canadian law had changed a half year earlier and they were able to call their lawyers and find out he was right; we ran off the highway a couple of times on the way to Montreal until we switched drivers.

Our environmental work

  • We used our lungs to help clear second-hand smoke from very smokey pubs in our early years.

  • We shared many a bottle of fine whiskey given to us after performing at weddings.

Our friends

  • We made more friends than we can count....than we can probably remember at this point. A few of the regulars who attended over a hundred shows can sometimes be seen with Across the Pond coffee mugs (Large whiskey mugs that look like coffee mugs)

  • We sold out of The Irish Lass Glass "ATP" shot glasses multiple times and sorely miss running into Sinéad Moss at festivals.

  • Twice we performed gratis for the wake of some we had performed wedding music years earlier.

Thank you to all who have attended our shows; to all the venues who trusted us to provide professional shows and then ask us back again and again. And thank you to our close friends and families who have supported us throughout this first part of our journey. Happy New Year!
