The official GRAND OPENING of the Eichelberger Distillery at Dills Tavern is here.

This family friendly event will include ongoing demonstrations of carpentry, blacksmithing, 18th century printing processes, 18th  century brewing, fiber arts (including quilting, spinning, weaving &  embroidery), 18th century herbalism & medicine, and tomahawk  throwing; living history reenactors from the mid and late 18th centuries; educational presentations on 18th century plants, the Conestoga story, and the making of an 18th century pot still; and games! Our cooper will be doing the Annual Harvesting of the Cattails and will demonstrate the complicated and involved task of refurbishing a cask. An early 19th century firearms display and a quilt raffle will round out the day.

The official Grand Opening Ceremony begins at 11:00am. Come watch us "brand a whiskey barrel."
